Property Description:
Northpoint #40
is called A Family Place because it is set up to make families
comfortable. Starting with a large, level driveway that
can hold 4-6 vehicles it is easy to unload with no steps
to navigate into the house. You enter the front door into
the family room with a cathedral ceiling, skylight and
beautiful native stone, wood-burning fireplace with raised
hearth. We'll provide plenty of firewood for your needs.
The main level has a dining table that seats 8, plus a
large eat-in kitchen with additional seating for 6. Or
you can enjoy eating outdoors at the picnic table that
seats 12-14. A gas grill is provided for your use. The
kitchen is equipped well enough to cook Thanksgiving dinner
for 16 - because that's what the owners do! If you want
to prepare many of your meals here, you won't have to worry
about having what you need. The family room has a queen
sleep sofa and matching love seat and TV/DVD/VCR. The main
level also has the master bedroom with TV and a full bath.
The walk-in closet in the master bedroom is where you can
find board games, a playpen, high chair, card table and
chairs and other items that families sometimes need. Upstairs
you will find a large bedroom suite with a vaulted ceiling
that includes a TV/DVD/VCR, a queen bed, a queen sleep
sofa and a full bath. Downstairs you will find a family
room with a TV/DVD, a pinball machine, a foosball table,
and two sofas (one is a queen sleep sofa). The toy box
is stocked with toys for little ones. There is a large
bathroom, plus a laundry area with super capacity washer
and dryer on this level. The last bedroom is located downstairs
with a queen bed and bunk beds (and an air hockey table).
The house has Cable TV with HBO/Cinemax, and wireless,
broadband internet access. There are large decks with plenty
of seating and an extra large hot tub that will seat 8-10.
Perfect for 2-3 small families to share (each can take
a level), or large families, groups or reunions. Plenty
of space to spend time together, and private areas where
you can get some alone time! The lot is semi-private, has
a horseshoe pit, and is surrounded by wooded areas. Northpoint
has direct access to trails in the National Forest. Pet
friendly. 3BR, 3BA, sleeps 14 (3 queens, 1 bunk, 3 sleep
sofas). Non-smoking. Requires 4-wheel drive in winter.
Easy access to Davis and shopping plus all that Canaan
Valley has to offer!
