All 3 bedrooms open onto the back deck. Just beyond lies the forest; further still- the mountains. The front deck is convenient to the kitchen and is complete with a -gas grill, table and plenty of chairs.

Interior furnishings include Direct TV(with Sports package!), VCR, great sound, a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave and coffeepot. There is also a small loft accessible by ladder. Comfort is accentuated with air-conditioning in the summer and a gas fireplace in the winter. Anyone can build this fire!

The area, affectionately known as our little "Hamlet on the Hillside", offers many opportunities for adventure. Small lakes and ponds abound, along with swimming, fishing, and boating pleasures. Hiking, biking, and horse-back riding are easily accessible. Down in the Valley(!) our legendary Shenandoah River provides canoeing, kayaking, tubing, and rafting possibilities. Also, the Luray Caverns are close, as well as vineyards, antiquing, and other shopping.
