This 2 bedroom storybook cabin nestled in a hollow along the mountainside features
a babbling brook to sing you to sleep. You won't hear any other sounds but
the song birds, since you are tucked away in an area next to the Shenandoah
National Park surrounded by acres of forest.
The large covered porch is a perfect place to watch the sunset, or move to
the deck to catch the sparkling night sky after grilling dinner. Maybe you'd
rather just sit around the campfire. Or, if a long day of hiking to Big Meadows
on the Skyline Drive leaves you longing for a glass of wine in warm, bubbly
water, go ahead and enjoy the large indoor whirlpool tub. There's plenty to
do with hiking from your cabin door to fishing in the nearby private pond.
And all the activities of Luray and the Shenandoah Valley are just down the
mountain. Hemlock Hollow on Tanners Ridge above Stanley, Virginia is the perfect
spot for a weekend away for the two of you. With lovely cathedral ceilings,
it's open floor plan is also ideal for small children.
